The short version
You already do the kind of work that earns trust. What's missing is a place online that shows it, so the right builders and developers feel that quality before they ever call you. That's what this site is for.
Clean, premium, simple to move through, with your projects up front and your name attached to real work. The whole technical side stays with us, off your plate.
Your business, the way we understand it
Here's how we've understood what you do, so you can check it and catch anything we got wrong or left out.
You design and build custom millwork and cabinetry. Kitchens, bathrooms, panels, anywhere there's cabinetry going into a home. You work with homeowners, builders and developers, and your sweet spot is multiplex builders running six to twelve units, the people who already speak your design language and know what they want.
You cover the Vancouver and Fraser Valley area now, with your eyes on Alberta and the Island next. And the reason work keeps coming without you ever advertising is simple. You're easy to deal with, you guide people who don't know the trade, and you won't put anything in someone's home that you wouldn't put in your own.
Read that back. If anything's off, too narrow, or missing, tell me and we'll fix it before it shapes the site.
What we're building
- A homepage that makes it clear who you are, what you do, and who you do it best for.
- A projects section where every job opens into its own gallery, so people can study your millwork instead of squinting at a single thumbnail.
- Your black, walnut and white direction running through the whole thing, built around the VMD logo you're making on 99designs.
- Local search set up so you show up when people nearby look for kitchens, bathrooms and custom millwork, with room to stretch into the Alberta and Island markets as you grow.
- The legal pages a Canadian business site needs, written and set up for you.
- Hosting, backups and updates all sitting with us, your site kept online and safe without you thinking about it.
How your projects show up
You told us you can't stand galleries that keep sliding while you're trying to look at the detail. Fair, and they lose visitors anyway. So nothing moves on its own. Someone clicks into a project, controls the gallery themselves, and sees the details that matter right beside it.
- Project name
- The year it was done
- A short description of the work
- Roughly how long it ran
Adding new projects down the road is easy, and it won't have to be your job. Whenever you finish something worth showing, it can go up without much fuss.
What we need from you
Four things, and none of them are heavy.
Photos
The higher the quality, the more premium the whole site feels. Send them through Google Drive or Dropbox, not WhatsApp, because WhatsApp crushes the resolution. If some are phone-only or a little rough, we can clean and upscale them.
Testimonials
Anything your past clients have said about working with you. A written quote is perfect. A short voice memo works too, and we'll write it up. A ten second video is the strongest of all, but only if it's easy. No pressure.
Reference sites
Any websites, in your world or outside it, that make you stop and think, yeah, that feels right. Send them over. They tell us your taste faster than a paragraph ever could.
Feedback
When we send drafts, quick and honest reactions. Blunt beats polite here. The faster the feedback, the faster this moves.
A note on the words
Staring at a blank page is the worst, so we don't hand you one. We give you prompts for each section, you fill in what you can, and we shape it together until it reads like you and says what it needs to. Your area, your ideal clients, your materials, and the way you work.
Timeline
Roughly four to six weeks. No hard deadline, so if it runs a little longer, no problem. The speed really comes down to how fast the photos, content and feedback come back. The quicker you are with those, the quicker you're live.
The investment
Kept between us. Agreed directly with you.
A build like this runs a lot higher at an agency. This number is what it is because we know each other, and because I'd rather this be the start of something long-term than a one-off. The split is simple.
That's the easiest way to send it between Canada and Europe. Any questions on the payment at all, just ask.
Keeping it running
Once you're live, there's a small yearly cost for hosting and the domain, and we take care of all of it. Hosting, backups, updates, and keeping the site up.
It usually runs around CAD 70 to 80 a year, less than you'd pay stitching it together on your own accounts, because we buy in bulk. The domain gets registered in your name, so the site is always yours to control, whatever happens down the road.
If you send someone our way
When the site's done and you're proud enough of it to show it off, and someone comes to you wanting a project of their own, there's a referral bonus in it for you. Ten to fifteen percent of their project, depending on the size.
First steps
- Send a first set of photos as soon as you can, so we can check the quality together and see what we're working with.
- Send the 50 percent deposit whenever you're ready.
- Pass along any testimonials and reference sites when they're handy.
That's it. Once the photos and the deposit are in, we start.
